Delete your account

Adults aged 18 and over

RitRekha is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not create or use an account if you are under 18, including with parental permission. Give your own accurate birth date; do not change it to bypass the age requirement.

You can request deletion of an underage or age-restricted account even if normal app access is blocked. Use the account-deletion option shown by the age restriction screen or email admin@ritveproductions.com. We may verify account ownership before acting; age restriction does not itself erase previously stored data.

Request deletion of your RitRekha account and associated personal data.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

You can request deletion here even if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in. An email request is sufficient to start the process.

If the button does not open an email app, write to admin@ritveproductions.com with the subject RitRekha account deletion request. Include the email used to sign in and your username, if known. You do not need to explain why you want to leave.

Verification and completion

Send from your account email where possible. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting data to prevent someone else from deleting your account. Never send your Google password, login code or authentication token. We will explain any additional verification and confirm the outcome by email.

We handle requests as soon as reasonably possible after verification, subject to applicable requirements. App-data deletion and storage/authentication cleanup may complete at different times. We will tell you if additional processing or a permitted retention exception applies; no instant-erasure guarantee is made.

Deleting from the app

  1. Open RitRekha and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Read the confirmation, type DELETE when asked and confirm.

If you encounter an error or cannot use these controls, use the email route above. Account deletion is intended to be permanent.

Data removed and records retained

Deletion removes your app profile, birth details, saved reflections and other personal app content, and derived chart/timeline data linked to your account. Profile photos and the sign-in identity are queued for separate cleanup.

Limited subscription/purchase history, transaction events, security/operational records can be retained for billing, fraud prevention, security or legal reasons. Some historical records have their account link removed. RevenueCat purchase history is not automatically deleted by app-account deletion. Provider logs or retained copies follow their applicable processes. We can explain retained categories and relevant constraints when handling your request.

See the privacy policy for more detail. Do not assume uninstalling removes account data or every local copy immediately.

Subscriptions are separate

Account deletion does not cancel an app-store subscription. If you have a real store subscription, manage or cancel it through that store to prevent further renewals. On Google Play, open Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and select RitRekha when available. Current development Test Store purchases are simulated. You can request account deletion without waiting for a subscription period to end; contact us if you need assistance.
